Loch Lomond Clinics 2026
Location:
Paddle better. Move better. Enjoy it more.
I’m excited to be running two BOOTH Training clinics at Loch Lomond on 6 June 2026.
These sessions are designed to help paddlers improve the things that make the biggest difference on the water. Better technique, better efficiency, better board control, and a clearer understanding of how to move well and use your energy better.
Whether you are a long distance paddler, someone wanting to improve your general skills, or simply looking to enjoy your paddling more, these clinics are built for you.
This is not just time on the water. It is quality coaching, direct feedback, and practical skills you can apply straight away.
Across both sessions, I’ll share the key lessons I’ve learned from years of racing and coaching at the highest level to help you become a more efficient, more capable, and more confident paddler.
Skills Workshop
6 June 2026
Loch Lomond
Build better skills and more confidence on the water.
A lot of paddlers work hard but still feel uncomfortable or inefficient in certain situations. Small improvements in board control, movement, and handling can make a big difference to both performance and enjoyment.
This session is designed to help with that.
We’ll focus on practical skills that improve confidence and control, including:
-
board control
-
footwork and movement around the board
-
handling different situations on the water
-
paddling with more balance and efficiency
-
general skills to make paddling feel easier and more enjoyable
You’ll leave this session feeling more comfortable, more capable, and more confident on the water.
Best for: paddlers wanting to improve general skills, confidence, and board control.
Technique Workshop
6 June 2026
Loch Lomond
Improve efficiency and get more from every stroke.
Many paddlers put in plenty of effort but still feel like they are fighting the water. Poor body position, inefficient timing, and technical habits can waste energy and make paddling harder than it needs to be.
This session is designed to clean that up.
We’ll work through the foundations of strong paddling, including:
-
stroke efficiency
-
body position
-
board trim
-
timing
-
key technical details that improve glide, control, and efficiency
My goal is to help you better understand your stroke, identify the biggest areas for improvement, and give you clear feedback you can actually use.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to paddle more efficiently, use less wasted effort, and enjoy your time on the water more.
Best for: paddlers wanting better technique, better efficiency, and a clearer understanding of how to paddle well over longer distances.
