Eckernförder Sprottentage
Eckernförder Sprottentage Clinics 2026
Race better. Paddle better. Perform with more confidence.
I’m excited to be running two BOOTH Training clinics at the 2026 Eckernförder Sprottentage.
These clinics are designed to help paddlers solve the things that most often hold them back on race weekend. Poor starts, wasted energy through inefficient technique, lack of board control, uncertainty in the conditions, and not knowing how to execute when the pressure comes on.
If you want to feel more prepared, more efficient, and more confident on the start line, these sessions are built for you.
This is not just time on the water. It is quality coaching, direct feedback, race insight, and practical skills you can take straight into the weekend.
Across both clinics, I’ll share the key lessons I’ve learned from years of racing and coaching at the highest level, with the goal of helping you become a faster, more skilled, and more complete paddler.
Friday Skills and Sprint Workshop
22 May 2026
4:00pm to 6:00pm
Sharpen your race skills before the weekend starts
A lot of paddlers are fit enough to race well, but lose ground through poor execution. Slow starts, messy footwork, poor board control, and ineffective sprinting can cost valuable seconds and put you on the back foot early.
This session is built to fix that.
We’ll focus on the race skills that make the biggest difference when speed and execution matter most, including:
-
starts
-
sprinting
-
board control
-
movement around the board
-
race-specific skills for the weekend conditions and courses
You’ll leave this session feeling sharper, more switched on, and better prepared to race at your best.
Best for: paddlers wanting to fine tune race skills, improve execution, and head into the weekend with confidence.
Monday Technique Workshop
25 May 2026
8:00am to 10:00am
Improve efficiency and get more from every stroke
Many paddlers work hard but still feel like they are fighting the water. They waste energy through poor body position, inefficient timing, and technical habits that reduce speed and control.
This session is designed to clean that up.
We’ll work through the foundations of strong paddling, including:
-
stroke efficiency
-
body position
-
board trim
-
timing
-
key technical details that improve speed and control
My goal is to help you better understand your stroke, identify the biggest areas for improvement, and give you clear feedback you can actually use.
We’ll also touch on the race courses from the weekend so you can build a better understanding of what the demands were and how to approach them more effectively in future racing.
Best for: paddlers wanting better technique, more efficiency, and a clearer understanding of how to paddle faster with less wasted effort.

These clinics are ideal for:

Why Join
The biggest improvements often come from the smallest changes.
Better technique helps you move more efficiently through the water. Better skills help you perform when the pressure is on. Better understanding helps you make smarter decisions in racing.
These clinics are designed to help you stop guessing, stop wasting energy, and start paddling with more clarity and purpose.
My goal is simple. To help you get more out of yourself and your paddling.
